The Catholic University of Angola offers a comprehensive education to its students. Therefore, it has this department that promotes and encourages the spiritual growth of students, giving a greater existential and human meaning in the lives of young university students. Pastoral work articulates different proposals and educational and associative activities.

Catechesis is carried out within the University Pastoral, with the aim of helping students to meet Christ and walk with him.
Biblical reflection group: with the aim of awakening students' interest in the biblical text, emphasizing the analysis of its context in the social, cultural, economic and political situation that surrounded its writing.
Coexistence: the university ministry promotes socializing and meeting activities among students: walks, sports and cultural events. It is the will of the UCAN pastoral to encourage communion of faith and exchange of experience with young people from other Universities.
Volunteering is one of the traits of our UCAN, it offers young people the exercise of solidarity through social service.
Ucan carries out volunteering missions in the socially vulnerable areas of our country during the vacation months.
