The launching ceremony took place, in a hybrid way, in the Salão Nobre and via ZOOM, it was opened by the Dean of FCH, Dr. Anabella Loureiro. The academic responsible highlighted the fact that the work will contribute to the construction of Angolan scientific thought, in general, and increase the bibliography of the psychology course, in particular. Dr. Anabela Loureiro congratulated the author for her courage, persistence, example and the quality she confers on the academic sector of UCAN. The work was prefaced and presented by Professor Ana Beatriz Freire, from Brazil, who witnessed the author's academic journey as a student in Brazil and highlighted Professor Helena Veloso's intelligence and brilliance in the field of research. The Brazilian academic described the work as having a strong scientific-pedagogical nature, useful for helping students to stimulate reflection in the academy. For Doctor Ana Beatriz Freire, the author is careful and rigorous in approaching the themes of the book, particularly madness. In turn, Catarino Luamba, editor of the work, referred to the fact that this work symbolizes, above all, the trust and faith that the author, also his former teacher, deposited in himself, helping to materialize his projects and professional dreams. Visibly moved, professor Helena Veloso explained that she wrote to help psychology students and researchers to delve deeper into the area of psychoanalysis, which, as she said, is still largely unexplored in Angola. The author closed the interventions by thanking everyone, especially Professor Ana Beatriz Freire and said that “up until now, God has helped us…to Him all the honor and all the glory”. Also present at the ceremony were the Vice-Rector for the Academic Area, Dr. Maria Helena Miguel, the Vice-Rector for Research and University Extension, Father Doutor Jerónimo Cahinga, Frei Doutor José Sebastião, Director of CEIE (Ethics Teaching and Research Center), FCH professors and students, family members and friends of Professor Doctor Helena Veloso.
