The Faculty of Economics and Management of the Catholic University of Angola recently organized a webinar on: "Retention and Recruitment in the Time of Covid-19". recruitment and retention of employees within organizations. Dr. Laura Sacala, one of the organizers, highlighted the importance of the event given the pandemic period the world is experiencing and the need for companies to adapt or update their human resources policies and employee recruitment and retention strategies. The speakers, Dr Suzana Rosa and Dr Naira Machado addressed the topic from two perspectives, one from the candidates and the other from the organizations. In this sense, Dr. Laura stressed that, on the one hand, companies need to develop employee retention strategies that bring added value to the organization and, on the other hand, candidates need to know their potential with the intention of better selecting the companies where they can apply and succeed. . The webinar was attended by teachers, students, human resources professionals and company managers. The interaction of the speakers then favored the debate, where the participants clarified their doubts in due course.
