FACULTY OF LAW PRESENTS CANDIDATES FOR THE FINAL PHASE OF THE PRIVATE LAW AWARD

The UCAN Faculty of Law held last Friday, the public and virtual act of presentation and defense of the works selected for the final phase of the Research Award in Private Law/2020-2021. The prize, aimed especially at law students, constitutes an extracurricular activity of the Faculty which aims to encourage students to research, enhance the study of private law topics and reward the merit of competitors.

 

Applications for the contest were made last year and had three candidates, namely; Kennedy Benguela, who presented the theme "The problem of the extended social object of commercial companies in Angola", Laustro Soares, "The relevance of extra-work conduct in the employment contract" and Emerson Congo with the theme "The aesthetics of black hair, as a personality right and its implications in labor relations".

The three candidates were initially evaluated by oral presentation and classified as follows; in first place the competitor Kennedy Benguela with eight points, in second place, Laustro Soares with seven points and in third place Emerson Congo with six points. Therefore, candidates wait for the final classification where the winner of the contest will be awarded.
