Law degree

The Law course at the Catholic University of Angola is a 5-year degree, specializing in two areas: Legal-Forensic and Legal-Economic. The Faculty of Law of the Catholic University of Angola is considered one of the best schools in Angola. Its commitment is with people, for this reason, it seeks to develop the teaching of law with quality and excellence. To its students, the Faculty of Law offers theoretical and practical education so that they have the necessary tools to face the job market.

The law course at the Catholic University of Angola allows the graduate to present himself with knowledge in structuring areas of law.

The Law course is a training program that aims at innovation, to better respond to current challenges. Thus, in addition to teaching subjects in the traditional areas of law, it seeks to offer the student a contextual view of law on situations and problems in Angola, as well as bringing to the classroom the real dimension of the functioning of justice institutions in the country.

The main objective of the law course is to train staff capable of responding to the human needs and challenges of justice in Angola. For this reason, the law course, through its curricular plan and its teachers, brings to the classroom the theory and experience of those who actually work in the courts, advocacy, ministries and other institutions where law happens.

The second objective of the course is to increase the number of Angolan staff in the area of law, so that, in sufficient numbers, they are available to serve where they are needed. However, training in quantity does little to increase if it is not accompanied by the necessary and competent human and technical training. This dimension is designed for teaching, through the administration of ethical chairs.
