STAND IN LEGAL AND POLITICAL SCIENCES

Promote the training of professionals with a Master's degree, highly qualified and with mastery of public and constitutional law norms and capable of working in research and consulting related to their area of training. Trained professionals will be able to support the resolution of conflicts through legal instruments, thus contributing to the consolidation of the rule of law and democracy.

Promote the training of professionals with a Master's degree, highly qualified and with mastery of public and constitutional law norms and capable of working in research and consulting related to their area of training. Trained professionals will be able to support the resolution of conflicts through legal instruments, thus contributing to the consolidation of the rule of law and democracy.

Objectives

1- Train technicians with a Master's degree to work on issues related to Legal-Political Sciences;

2- Promote research in the field of Legal and Political Sciences, taking into account the context in which professionals work and the country's challenges in this area;

Professional Outings

The Master in Legal-Political Sciences can, among others, develop their professional activity in the following fields:

1 – Public Ministry, Judiciary, Advocacy, Consultancy;

2 – Civil society organizations;

3 - Public administration

4 – Party organizations.

5 - Diplomacy

 

Output Profile

Upon completion of the Master's Degree in Legal-Political Sciences, students acquire an exit profile in which they gather, among others, the following skills:

a) To master the rules of public and constitutional law;

b) Mastering scientific research and consulting tools;

c) Issuing legal opinions in the area of legal-political sciences;

d) Apply the main legal instruments in conflict resolution;

e) Apply legal work procedures in the exercise of public service;
